Free Ringette Clinic

Give ringette a try.  Attend our Ringette Clinic for 6-11 year olds who have never played ringette before.  Players need only basic skating skills to attend and have fun.

Date:       Saturday, September 15, 2007.

Time:       5:15, please arrive by 4:45

Location:  Centennial Park Arena [map]

Spaces are limited.  Sign up for the clinic by sending an email with a contact name, phone number, player's name and player's age, or call Darlene Davies at 416-626-8855.

Players should be ready to go on the ice when the clinic starts.  The clinic will consist of skills drills and games led by our summer camp director, John Hibbit, and his team of trained instructors. Registered Etobicoke ringette players may join their friends on ice to help with drills and demonstrations, but please contact John Voss so the ice does not become too crowded.

Sticks will be provided.

Full ringette equipment is recommended.  If unavailable, at minimum, players must wear:

  • Helmet with full face mask, either hockey or ringette CSA approved.
  • Hockey or broomball gloves
  • Sports skates, not figure skates.

Snow pants or other padded attire recommended.

Participants may register for 2007-08 house league onsite during the clinic.
